Background:
The RCA (Thomson outside the US) Lyra is a personal digital audio player capable of playing MP3, MicroSoft WMA, and RealAudio G2 compressed audio formats. Unfortunately, the RealJukebox software provided with the Lyra encrypts these audio files into a proprietary format, and the Lyra will not play the files unless they have been converted by the RealJukebox software.
The Lyra is based on a NEC 784036 microcontroller and a TI TMS320VC5410PGE-100 DSP.
